A verified change
One pull request that merged with a passing verdict from the quality gate. It bills once, however many runs it took. Retries, failed changes and bot commits are free.
A product
One application or service with its own repositories and release stream. One repository is not two products. Beyond the pool a change costs more than inside it, so once you pay overage the next product pays for itself.
The cap
A monthly amount you set on Team. At the cap we stop metering and tell you. Nothing above it is billed without your agreement, and the gate keeps running on every pull request.

What is the most I can pay in a month?

On Team, products at $299 each, plus changes beyond the pool at the rates above, plus telemetry at most $600 a product. Set a cap and that is the most.

What if a product ships nothing this month?

You pay for the product, and it adds nothing to the pool that month. Allowances come from products that ship, so declaring a product for its allowance alone does not lower the bill.

What is a test result, and what happens far past the pool?

One result is one test case outcome from one run. Past 5x the pool, error events are sampled 1 in 10 and results not attached to a verified change are dropped. Results attached to a change always flow. Two months in a row past the ceiling is an Enterprise conversation.

What does annual billing change?

The product fee drops by 20 percent and is billed once a year: Starter at $79 a month, Team at $239 a product. Changes and telemetry beyond the pool are billed monthly at the same rates on either term.

Can I move between plans?

Starter is self-serve: sign up and connect a repository. It becomes Team the month you pass 25 changes or add a second product. On Team, add or remove a product any month. Past 3,000 changes a month, we will propose a committed annual number instead.
